In the Park

In the Park

Went for a walk in the park,
Filled with people round and long,
Cool breeze accompanied clouds dark,
Walk path perimetered many a playground.

Kids running everywhere,
Some on swing some on slide,
Soaring to give the sun a dare,
Gracefully manoeuvring the glide.

Every gym working to hustle,
Each sitting bench occupied,
Seniors exercising every muscle,
Office goers working late almost petrified.

Mother’s seated on play area compound,
Catching up on the latest gossip,
With a keen lookout on kids in the playground,
Every now and then sharing a home remedy tip.

Then there are the serious walkers,
Going around in different roads,
A few slow many a fast pacers,
But all had ears on various notes.

I sat there tall and alone,
Looking at all the action small and main,
Mind capturing the pictures like a drone,
Only to poet it out on a paper plain.
