Why…

Why does anger result in scolding and beating?
Why do words become demeaning?
Why is the blame latched onto two!
Then the explanation is always due,
Hurt enormous is the resultant,
Old wounds bleed without resistance,
Thoughts take a walk to the nether,
Relationship string stretches a little further,
Smiles are lacklustre, as if contrived,
Jaunty task modulates into work constrained.
