Colours in Jars
Colours have a uncanny knack,
To fill every nook, every crack,
Replenishing the rainbow jars,
With hues light and dark,
Flying and splashing in from afar,
Reusing the shades to redefining life’s spark.
A warm tint to paint away the pain,
A dark tone to mask the strain,
A mild hue that spills as words in pairs,
A tincture of colour to voice despair,
A year full to dip in the colour pitcher,
To bind you and your creative picture.
A blue hue to cover all gloom,
Red cherishes life to a full bloom,
Yellow submerges away despair,
Green sprouts’ life in hearts that needed repair,
Orange fires up imagination,
Pink shy away perspiration,
Together the deep purple hue swallows all ego,
With water washing away the hurts, for bonds to regrow.
